Here are a number of frequently asked questions. If you do not find what you're looking for here please contact me and I will be happy to answer anything else that is on your mind:
Will I remain in control?
Yes at all times. You are not asleep or unconscious and you cannot be hypnotized against your will, you have to
agree to it.
Is hypnosis dangerous in any way?
No, it is a perfectly natural state to be in. It's very similar to a daydream or a deep relaxing meditation. It's often likened to the space in between of waking up and being fully awake or just before you doze off to sleep.
How many sessions will I need?
The truth is I don't know. But what I do know is that most people come to me for one session and get the results they want. Some people have two sessions and a few people require more. Once we've had a chat on the telephone I can usually get an indication of how many sessions you may need.
What makes you different from other hypnotherapists?
I've been working as a counsellor for many years using guided imagery techniques from Psychosynthesis (see below for further information on Psychosynthesis). I incorporate these techniques into a hypnotherapy session. I have a thorough understanding of the subconscious and get to the heart of the matter by working deeply on the resistance to change.
How long is a session and how much do you charge?
Sessions are usually 1hr, sometimes 1hr 30mins depending on the issue at hand.
My fees are £90.00 for one hour and £130 for 1hr 30 mins
Smoking cessation requires 1hr 30mins.
I sometimes have concessionary rates available in the daytime in North London
Where are you based?
I work in Crouch End, North London and Harley St, near Oxford Circus.
